"A day at the beach in Williamsburg is family fun like anywhere else in the U.S.A., except Mom and Dad wear black..." I love it!

I recently discovered your blog, and I really enjoy it. I lived in Park Slope, just off the park, in the mid-80s ... right when the "yuppie gentrification" (boo, hiss, whatever) came to a halt due to the crack epidemic (yuppies weren't so bad, relatively, eh). I enjoy your 25+-years-later photos, observations and stories. Please keep it up!
