Nice - i was surprised to see some of these guys on the gowanus recently. Those duck butts are screaming for a rockabilly tribute ~ http://www.clker.com/clipart-14392.html

I am so hoping you continue with your photos and comments-I check daily still! As a transplanted Brooklynite (now in Philly )I relive my eight years of daily walks through Prospect Park with my two daughters in the past through your posts. It was really hard to say goodbye to these walks when we left.

This an awesome time to go ducking in Prospect: many mallards, a few black ducks, & some northern shovellers are to be seen. A wood duck has been around the Boathouse lately. A few buffleheads and ruddy ducks may be found as well. One never knows what the cold will bring in to any open water.

These may be the best duck butt pictures ever.
