Cool. I didn't see a single bat last Saturday night at the Dean & Britta concert. But we did find a cicada nymph in Green-Wood that day. http://brooklynbachelor.blogspot.com/2009/08/cicada-in-green-wood.html Would have loved to see one emerging. Meanwhile, the hill leading up to the Maryland Monument is alive with cicada-killer wasps right now: they nest in the open patches of dirt there. BTW, check out the lettering they just re-installed on the back of the monument!
